Learn from industry leader Ed Tomasi, who has over 20 years of esports event production and operational experience.  A former senior executive at ESL Gaming (now ESL FACEIT GROUP), Ed is currently the Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Subnation Media, a content and experience platform that celebrates the culture gaming and lifestyle of esports.  Ed focuses on esports advisory, which develops and executes strategies for government-supported destination marketing organizations looking to build or grow their esports ecosystem, and advises facility owners and property developers on how to accommodate the demands of esports programs for the now and next.
 
Most recently, Ed helped write a legislative bill for the State of North Carolina (NC Esports Grant Fund) which was signed into the State’s budget and is the first statewide program of its kind in the United States, committing over $30m USD towards esports and gaming initiatives.  Ed also serves as a founding member and Co-Chair of the Greater Raleigh Esports Local Organizing Committee in his home state of North Carolina.
