The Riptide Music Festival is an outdoor music festival that partners with the Celebration of the Sea Foundation in order to promote awareness and stewardship of marine habitats. The event also hopes to inspire young people in fields such as Science, Technology, Resiliency, Engineering, Arts and Math through the draw of music. fieldXers experienced a variety of different tasks while working the event, implementing aspects of their on site and online training.

FieldXer Roles

• fieldXers had the opportunity to serve in various capacities such Activation Tent Hospitality Managers, Proof of Performance Managers, Social Media Content Creators, VIP Hospitality Hosts, Backstage Production Assistants, and Information Runners.
• Duties and responsibilities of the above positions included ensuring sponsorship activations ran smoothly, media collection, guest communication, talent coordination, and crowd management.
